Origin & certification
Where MGH™ Certified honey comes from.
We source honey from either New Zealand or the UK and ensure it is certified to our release standards, with independent laboratory testing in those countries, before selling it in bulk or for manufacturing. We do not sell honey that has not passed release against the MGH™ Certified standards.
The supply side works to a documented internal quality-system structure — supplier approval, specification, batch release, traceability, complaints and document control — and every supplier works under a written supply agreement. Our technical file is built to demonstrate full traceability and supplier qualification.

Can MGH™ Certified honey be used in cosmetics and skincare?
Yes. Alongside advanced wound care in human and animal health, we supply formulators and brand owners developing cosmetic and skincare products. Note that certification of the honey itself is not a product claim: finished cosmetic or medical products must be assessed, registered and approved in their own right under the regulations that apply to them.
What documentation comes with a supply?
Each lot is supplied against a Certificate of Analysis covering composition, water activity, HMF and microbiological results, together with batch traceability. Our technical file is built to demonstrate full traceability and supplier qualification, and we work to a documented internal quality-system structure covering supplier approval, specification, batch release, traceability, complaints and document control.
Do you supply patients buying over the counter?
Our supply is business-to-business: clinics, wound-care services, manufacturers and brand owners. If you are a patient, medical grade honey dressings are available through prescription routes and pharmacies in many countries — ask your clinician or pharmacist what is available locally, and look for genuine certification rather than retail food-grade Manuka honey.
